A bright mother pearl
From Calvados
Côte de Nacre is a stretch of coast in the French department of Calvados, home of the famous apple brandy. This oyster in particular is born in the villages of Asnelles and Meuvaines, its main feature is the extremely white shell with the clear waters that cradle the shell.
It is the most northerly France farmed oyster compared to all the others in our e-boutique. Winner in 2010 its first gold medal, in 2017 it climbed again on the podium by winning the silver medal in the Norman oyster category.
